RECEPTION AND SCHOOL ENTRY

A much needed re-fit and extension to staff work spaces and school reception area. With a very small budget to work with the brief called for a simple and functional resolution, but as the school ‘front of house’ it also needed to be an inviting space for children and visitors, and something that expresses the school ethos.  Spaciousness and natural light is gained from high level glazing at the south and north entry doors, well shaded but with solar gain during the winter months to warm and illuminate the interior.
