Proposed Visitor and Interpretive Centre

An invited competition submission in collaboration with TS4 Architects and Synthetic Interpretive design.  Themed as ‘Balranald – where the outback meets the wetlands’. The Balranald Tourist Hub will include: links to Mungo and Yanga National Parks, historic town and riverside walks, historic buildings (old school and gaol), the landscape – recreation of wetlands and arid ecology, nature trails; tourist rest areas – shade, playground and picnic areas.
